Hiroki Matsumura has a career spanning three decades at EY, including a 3 year secondment to EY in London. His primary focus is audit and advisory work for large financial entities.
He has been an expert member of working groups of the Accounting Standards Board of Japan, as well as chairman of the ASBJ’s Financial Product Accounting Committee, alongside his membership of the Japanese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (JICPA).
He has a wide range of experience, with roles such as as a financial advisory department's deputy general manager, corporate culture promotion manager, senior managing director of human resource development, and more recently as EY Japan’s BMC and Talent leader.
Since July 2019, he has been serving as EY Japan's Regional FSO leader, and an EY Japan Assurance senior managing director.
He is a Japan-qualified CPA and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Waseda University, Tokyo.
