As the EY Americas Strategy and Transactions Real Estate, Hospitality and Construction Leader, Brett helps real estate companies and clients with significant real estate footprints navigate complex challenges through a deep understanding of valuation, due diligence, corporate finance and strategy. With more than 25 years of experience in all aspects of real estate consulting, he brings a global perspective and an intricate knowledge of the impact of capital markets on the real estate sector.

Previously, he led the Real Estate service within the Valuation, Modeling and Economics Group. He also serves on the AICPA board committee for real estate and construction and the NCREIF board committee for debt.

Brett earned a BBA in Finance, Investment and Banking; Real Estate and Urban Land Economics; and Risk Management and Insurance from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
