Shahul Hameed has been promoted to assurance manager, whilst Camille Alcazaren, Janke Hartkamp, Kanchan Khantwal, Ya Lin Li and Chandni Rughoobear have all progressed to assistant manager within the CI assurance team.

Shahul has almost a decade’s worth of experience providing audit services across multiple jurisdictions, including time spent in Asia, the Middle East and the UK, within the banking and financial services sectors. He is also well versed in accounting standards, particularly IFRS.

In 2017, Shahul was a finalist at the World Bank Group Analyst Program and was invited to the World Bank Group office in Washington DC to participate in the program to present his views to World Bank economists on resource allocation. The program is a unique opportunity for exceptionally talented young people with a passion for international development to contribute to solving some of the world’s most pressing problems.

Andrew Dann, EY’s CI Managing Partner, said: “Congratulations to all those who have been promoted and progressed to the next stage in their careers. Ensuring all our people have the support and opportunities available to grow and progress in their careers is so important to us. These promotions are a testament to their hard work and commitment to providing exceptional client service.”
