United States - EY Young Tax Professional of the Year 2023 finalist
Yiyang, the finalist representing the United States, is expected to graduate with an accounting degree from Baruch College in the summer of 2023 and will pursue a master’s degree in taxation. She was a volunteer tax preparer in the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance grant program, passing certificate exams, acquiring software training and helping over 100 people with their tax returns. She was also a tax professional for a US tax preparation company. Her experiences confirmed her interest in a tax career, and she hopes to get her CPA license after graduation. Yiyang enjoys listening to music, dancing, traveling, cooking, writing, playing badminton, running and walking along the seaside.
