Eloise Hall co-founded TABOO Period Products in 2017, with a vision for a world free from period poverty, where every menstruator has access to safe and dignified period care. With an estimated 800 million people currently living in period poverty, Eloise is bringing new answers, with compassion, to a fundamental human need.
Eloise’s drive to make structural change to bridge systematic and global inequality is evident in every action TABOO takes. The social enterprise sells pads and tampons in Australia, with all profits dedicated to eradicating period poverty, and promotes the conversation through its school programs. Eloise is a passionate activist for the Social Enterprise business model, and works to bring more change as a positive advocate for government menstrual wellbeing initiatives.
TABOO’s loyal customers play a critical role in helping eradicate period poverty, with initiatives like ‘Pad It Forward’ seeing more than 3000 boxes of period products donated to at-risk Australians.
Eloise has been recognised as InDaily's youngest 40 Under 40 recipient, in honour of her work with TABOO. She is a recipient of The Advertisers' Woman of the Year Rising Star Award in 2021 and was a Women in Innovation Finalist in 2019. She has also been selected as a Westpac Social Change Fellow for 2023.
To help her make even more of an impact, Eloise has completed a double bachelor’s degree in business and international relations.
