Along with EY Public Sector Strategy and Transactions teams worldwide, Oly helps government and public sector organizations undertaking major transactions or developing their financial strategy.
He is also a core part of the EY Geostrategic Business Group, which integrates geopolitical insights into EY advice to businesses. In this role, Oly supports Strategy and Transactions teams worldwide and EY teams across Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa.
Before moving to London in 2018, Oly was based in Sydney for ten years, leading EY Oceania’s Economics, Regulation and Policy team. Prior to starting his career in consulting, he was a senior civil servant in the UK Government. He worked in four different UK Government Departments: the (then) Department of Trade and Industry, the Prime Minister’s Office, HM Treasury and the Department of Transport.
Oly earned an MA in Geography from the University of Cambridge.
