Kernel presented the first results of the climate project in cooperation with EY Ukraine and EBRD

During the 27th Conference of Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP27), Kernel presented the first results of the project on the development of corporate climate governance (CCG: Corporate Climate Governance). 

Kernel implements this project together with EY Ukraine Climate Change and Sustainability Services team and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

The corporate climate governance program is an important component for the implementation of strategic climate initiatives, support for the EU energy transition plan and the post-war recovery of Ukraine.

The Kernel project together with EY Ukraine and the EBRD in this direction is a pilot one and demonstrates the focus of CCG-topic in Ukraine specifically on the agricultural sector today.

At the EY Sustainable Value Study, 69% of companies reported the increased revenue from strong climate actions, as well as benefits in terms of employee retention and brand perception.
