EY representatives visit Kibray region pension department

EY consultants visited the office of the Extrabudgetary Pension Fund under Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Finance in the Kibray district, Tashkent region, on November 30 to discuss possible improvements to business processes.

During the meeting, Kibray District Office officials demonstrated the local Extrabudgetary Pension Fund’s functionality, and familiarized EY consultants with procedures for granting pensions and allowances, for handling complaints and appeals from the population, as well as with the fund’s semi-automated system for calculating pensions. EY consultants provided their comments on the current business processes and suggested improvements.

Meeting participants noted a high level of cooperation and involvement, and expressed readiness to maintain close communication and work together to achieve the desired results in the performance of executive office of the Extrabudgetary Pension Fund under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The EY delegation included Ruta Makareviciute, Partner of Consulting Practice in Uzbekistan; Gulnara Moldakhmetova, Project Manager; and Consultant Fariza Negmatova.
