With nearly 30 years of experience in providing tax and compliance advice to a broad range of clients, Yoshiaki is EY Japan Family Enterprise Leader, Japan GCR Partner.
Based in Tokyo, he has been advising family enterprise owners and high-net worth individuals, and has gained extensive experience in tax and back office management for family enterprises. His keen focus on the tax services, global compliance and reporting for private clients has helped him provide initial public offering and M&A advice to family enterprise clients.
A Certified Tax Accountant in Japan, Yoshiaki has been instrumental in helping Japanese companies organize better tax management teams.
Prior to joining Ernst & Young ShinNihon LLC in 2016 as partner in the Tax practices, Yoshiaki was involved in nonperforming loan and real estate securitization, advisory services for fund structure, tax advisory services for financial institutions, M&A and reorganization.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Chuo University in Japan.
