Brent is a senior audit Partner at EY.
With over 30 years experience in the Auckland, Wellington, San Jose and London EY offices, Brent’s extensive experience includes leading and managing the delivery of audit and other services to large listed and public sector entities.
Brent has led EY’s involvement on several large transactions and has significant IPO experience. He has also worked with the World Bank on large scale transformation engagements in Indonesia and Sri Lanka.
He is the EY New Zealand CFO Programme leader and is responsible for the firm's initiatives with the CFO community. He is also the EYNZ Insurance Sector Leader and a member of the EY NZ financial services leadership team.
Outside of EY, Brent has a strong and active interest in sport, which has involved playing and coaching, rugby club administration and honorary auditing. He also continues to be involved with several charitable and community trusts.
He is a licensed auditor, fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand, holds a Certificate of Public Practice, and has a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration from the Victoria University of Wellington.
Brent is married with 2 adult children.
