Maggi Hughes is a partner in EY Australia’s Financial Services Consulting practice, based in Melbourne, focusing on risk strategy and transformation, financial crime and non‑financial risk management. She works closely with boards and executive teams across banking and capital markets on large‑scale, complex and often cross‑border initiatives.

Prior to returning to Australia, Maggi spent more than seven years with EY Singapore, where she led the Financial Services Risk practice. Her career spans corporate, government and not‑for‑profit roles across Australia, France and Singapore, shaping her perspective on governance, culture and change.

Alongside her client work, Maggi has held leadership roles within our LGBTQ + network, Unity, contributing to firm‑wide conversations on inclusive leadership, culture and accountability. She holds an MBA from EDHEC Business School in France, awarded summa cum laude.
