EY Oceania Evaluation Practice Network Lead

Finding solutions to complex problems. Rugby tragic. Beach holiday enthusiast. Dad to two awesome kids and Ollie the Irish terrier.

Mark has over 20 years’ experience as a professional advisory consultant and has spent much of his career advising state and federal governments, Ministerial Councils, and NGOs in Australia and New Zealand as well as for international organisations.

An economist and program evaluator, Mark established and leads EY Oceania’s Evaluation Practice Network, comprising over 250 practitioners, and brings the very best of EY’s program evaluation knowledge to EY clients.

Mark’s key sectors of focus include child protection, social housing and homelessness, justice, education and international aid and development.

Mark holds University qualifications from Macquarie University and The University of Sydney in the fields of Human Geography, Urban and Regional Planning and Public Sector Economics.

He is a member of EY Oceania’s For Purpose and Corporate Responsibility Council, a founding member of the Social Impact Measurement Network of Australia (SIMNA) and a member of the Australian Evaluation Society.
