Michael is an accomplished strategy and transactions leader in the EY Power & Utilities
team, based in Melbourne.

For more than 15 years, Michael has advised clients across the public and private sectors on complex infrastructure projects, particularly in wind, solar, storage, transmission and waste-to-energy projects. He supports some of Australia’s largest energy generators, developers and investors across all aspects of energy financing and contracting arrangements and advises governments on the implementation of policy to meet their energy transition objectives.

Michael’s career has included roles in Australia, the UK and Europe bringing deep knowledge from across the project lifecycle as well as specialist experience in debt and equity fundraising and M&A transactions in renewable energy and waste infrastructure.

A qualified Chartered Accountant, Michael holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree from Monash University.
