Urs Indermühle to lead consumer and healthcare sector at EY Europe West

Urs Indermühle, who hails from Basel, has been named the new EY Europe West Consumer and Health Industry Leader.

Zurich, 20 November 2025 – Longstanding partner Urs Indermühle has been appointed the new Europe West Consumer and Health Industry Leader at the auditing and consulting firm EY, succeeding David Naïm. He took up his new role on November 13, 2025.

Urs, who hails from Basel and is an economist and certified auditor, has more than 20 years of international experience in the consumer and healthcare sector under his belt. Since joining EY Switzerland in 2003, he has spent the majority of his career in the field of Strategy & Transactions. He has also worked on secondment in the Czech Republic, Hungary, South Africa, Slovenia and Serbia, where he led the transaction team for the entire Adriatic region. Urs is currently the sector leader for life sciences in Europe West Life Sciences and has been managing EY Switzerland’s consulting business (non-FSO) since July 2023. His expertise and commitment have been instrumental in strengthening EY’s market position in Switzerland and beyond.

He will continue to serve as Life Sciences Sector Leader. Commenting on his appointment, EY’s new Europe West Consumer and Health Industry Leader said: “I’m really looking forward to this new role. Together with our teams, I want to further expand EY’s market presence in the consumer and healthcare sector and strengthen cross-border collaboration. Our aim is to develop innovative solutions for our customers and drive sustainable growth in a rapidly changing industry.”

Outside work, Urs spends time with his wife and two daughters, goes skiing in winter, sailing in summer and playing sports.
