Swiss CISO Awards 2026: EY and the Swiss Cyber Institute recognize cybersecurity leaders
- Anatoli Kalysch, CISO of Lindenhofgruppe AG, wins Swiss CISO Award 2026.
- Kai Schramm, CISO at TWINT, awarded Cybersecurity Excellence Award in the “Swiss CISO of the Year” category.
- Andra-Irina Vasile (SIX Group) wins Future Leader Award; Tobias Castagna (NTC) and Nathalie Gratzer (NATO CCDCOE / Swiss Cyber Command) receive Cybersecurity Excellence Award in the “Future Leader” category.
Zurich, 2 September 2026 – The Swiss CISO Awards were presented at the Global Cyber Conference on September 1, 2026 at the Dolder Grand in Zurich. The awards are presented by the Swiss Cyber Institute in collaboration with the auditing and consulting firm EY Switzerland. This is the fourth year the awards ceremony has been held. The awards recognize outstanding chief information security officers (CISOs) and cybersecurity officers who adopt innovative approaches and demonstrate strategic foresight to strengthen the digital security and resilience of companies and organizations.
Swiss CISO of the Year winner 2026
Anatoli Kalysch, CISO of Lindenhofgruppe AG, won the Swiss CISO award for 2026. Taking a risk-based approach, he has strengthened the cyber resilience of Lindenhofgruppe AG and closely linked information security with patient safety and continuity of care. In addition to clear governance structures, transparent maturity models and systematic reporting, he has established innovative processes for assessing supplier risks, thereby significantly increasing efficiency in risk management. Tom Schmidt, one of the panel of judges and Cybersecurity Leader Financial Services at EY Switzerland, said: “Anatoli Kalysch impressively demonstrates how cybersecurity can make a direct contribution to the resilience of critical healthcare services. His approach combines information security with patient safety, thus creating sustainable added value for the entire organization.”
Cybersecurity Excellence (Swiss CISO of the Year) winner 2026
The Cybersecurity Excellence award in the category Swiss CISO of the Year was won by Kai Schramm, CISO at TWINT. What particularly impressed the panel of judges were his consistent focus on protecting customers and his innovative approaches to detecting and combating digital fraud at an early stage. In addition, he systematically developed TWINT’s cybersecurity organization further and expanded specialist skills within the team in a targeted manner. Schmidt said: “Kai Schramm combines technological innovation with a clear focus on the needs of the customer. His work shows how modern cybersecurity can make an important contribution to building confidence in digital services.”
Future Leader winners 2026
The Future Leader award went to Andra-Irina Vasile, Senior Business Information Security Officer at SIX Group. Tobias Castagna, Head of Test Experts at the National Test Institute for Cybersecurity (NTC), and Nathalie Gratzer, Head of Industry Cooperation at NATO CCDCOE and Swiss National Representative of Swiss Cyber Command, received the Cybersecurity Excellence award in the Future Leader category. The award winners are committed to the further development of cybersecurity in Switzerland in a variety of areas – from AI governance and raising awareness of digital risks to the independent assessment of critical technologies and the promotion of cooperation between government, business, academia and the military.
