Zurich, 23 October 2026 – The auditing and consulting firm EY Switzerland’s Entrepreneur Of The Year 2026 award – the 29th year of the program – has been presented to Swiss business personalities in recognition of their innovation and commitment.
Stefan Rösch-Rütsche, EY Switzerland’s Country Managing Partner, commented: “Swiss entrepreneurs make a significant contribution to our prosperity, so it has been an honor for us to recognize them for more than a quarter of a century. As in previous years, we had the privilege of whittling down an array of candidates to a shortlist of outstanding finalists and then selecting the winners in the three categories of the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year award from that shortlist. The range of personalities, ideas and business models once again demonstrates the strength and innovative power of Swiss entrepreneurship.”
This year’s awards ceremony was held as part of a gala at the Kongresshaus Zürich. More than 400 distinguished guests from the worlds of business, politics and society attended the celebrations and witnessed an awards ceremony in which nine outstanding companies made the finals. The Zurich girl group Mixed Flames provided the musical accompaniment. The five singers exemplify diversity, thereby embodying a value that also shapes many of the finalists: Diversity, the basis for innovation and lasting success.
Frédéric Tissot, Head of EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Switzerland, said: “A total of 70 business personalities from 57 companies were nominated for the 2026 program. I would like to express my sincere thanks for the trust you have placed in us in our annual program. I would like to extend my warmest congratulations to this evening’s nominees, finalists and, in particular, award-winning business personalities, as well as their teams. They stood out in an exceptionally strong field of participants and their success was thoroughly deserved. They exemplify entrepreneurial courage, foresight and perseverance and show how innovation, responsibility and sustainable growth are advancing the Swiss economy and society.”
