Patrick is a licensed Insolvency Practitioner with over 35 years of Corporate Restructuring experience. He joined EY in 1986 from the Insolvency Service and is one of the leaders of our Solvent Restructuring practice.

Patrick is a Past President of the Insolvency Practitioners Association (IPA). He is the previous Chair of the IPA's Practice Guidance, Ethics and Standards Committee and has previously been a member of R3’s General Technical Committee and the Joint Insolvency Committee. He is currently a member of the IPA's Disciplinary and Appeals Committee.

He graduated from Sheffield University in 1982 with an Upper Second in Applied Mathematics.

How Patrick is building a better working world

Patrick helps clients with his broad breadth of experience of insolvencies and restructurings in many industries, particularly in the financial services sector.

He advises clients on legal entity rationalizations and closure management solutions.

Patrick is recognized as having vast knowledge in solvent liquidations, including Section 110 schemes, the restructurings of investment trusts and advising clients on end of fund life issues.  His experience in this area assists clients in finding practical solutions to maximize value and delivering the best outcome for shareholders.
