In our Tax Technology and Transformation team, you’ll help design and deliver creative technology and transformation solutions to improve the operational effectiveness of tax functions while you build your career.

What is Tax Technology and Transformation?

As part of the team, you’ll help design and deliver creative technology and transformation solutions to improve the operational effectiveness of tax functions by identifying and solving specific client problems.
As part of a broader Asia-Pacific team, we service some of the world’s largest corporations and help them navigate the digital age of tax, enabling them for the impact of emerging technology, increasing regulatory pressure, a competitive labour market and a need to do more with their resources. The Tax Technology and Transformation (TTT) team is a consulting team within the wider tax practice.
 

What could you be doing?

  • Work on a variety of EY clients from small businesses to multinational corporations across Oceania
  • Assist in the successful delivery of tax technology and transformation projects, ensuring technical excellence and practical/business-driven approach
  • Gain hands-on experience in building technology solutions using tools such as Alteryx, Microsoft suite, Enterprise tools such as ERP configurations and Enterprise performance management tools such as Anaplan, Tagetik, Hyperion
  • Assist in new business pursuits, preparing for and attending presentations to support senior colleagues
  • Build relationships both within the organisation and externally with clients, identifying opportunities and growing your network skills and attributes for success
  • Grow your technical skills through participating in our technical cells exploring different areas of learning including Intelligent tax reporting, Enterprise, Governance, Transformation. Attending our annual Asia-Pac Bootcamp event

Your career journey in Tax Technology and Transformation

As a graduate, you’ll be part of our 12-month graduate development programme that has been developed for graduates in all service lines, and is focused on connection, learning and celebration.

The programmes will provide you with the opportunity to network with your peers from other service lines and geographies. Running in parallel to your technical learning, you will develop leadership skills to become a successful graduate, and as you grow as a transformative leader.

As a Tax Technology and Transformation graduate, you’ll take part in:-

  • Monthly technical cell workshops focusing on different areas, including Intelligent tax reporting, Enterprise, Governance, Transformation
  • Undertake self-learning – EY badges on numerous areas
  • Attend our annual two-day Bootcamp with our wider Asia-Pac team

As a intern, after our company induction, you’ll start developing an understanding of how our Tax Technology and Transformation teams work and will be ready to work alongside teams on real client projects. You’ll meet other new interns from your office.

Your buddy and your counsellor will help you learn your way around the organisation, set your goals and plan your development while you’re here. You'll be well looked after with ongoing learning throughout the Intern Programme with sessions facilitated by our Learning and Development team, Campus Recruitment team and service line specific training. The Intern Programme is a great way to gain valuable audit experience, skills and networks to start building your career.
