Luke Campbell

At 15, major spinal surgery left Luke Campbell with 18 pieces of metal in his back, and an embedded resilience he would later channel into entrepreneurship. Years later, while studying at the University of Canterbury, he founded an Amnesty International chapter, raised thousands for charity, and received an award for community service. But it was a project started in 2018 as a student that would become his true entrepreneurial calling.

VXT was launched as a voicemail management tool, however quickly evolved after initial interest plateaued. To pivot, Luke conducted over 100 interviews with law firms and recognised their need for an integrated communication system. He then took a risk to rebuild the platform to automate call recording, summarisation, and integrate legal software.

Today, the cloud-based system is used by over 800 firms across five countries and has processed over 10 million calls. With a remote team working across time zones and a focus on efficiency, Luke has grown VXT 10% per month for 17 consecutive months and raised more than $6 million in funding. When onboarding bottlenecks threatened growth in 2024, Luke personally redesigned the system, tripling capacity without adding headcount.

Luke’s leadership is grounded by a drive to make justice more accessible by freeing lawyers to focus on meaningful work. He’s embedded sustainability principles into VXT’s operations, with initiatives that include wellbeing days, salary transparency, and an inclusive, flexible culture. Beyond VXT, he supports underrepresented founders and has helped hundreds through peer-led entrepreneur networks.

His attention is now on global growth, especially in the US, where more than 400,000 law firms represent a major opportunity. For Luke, VXT is more than software - it’s a platform for change.
