Alex is a Partner in EY's Cyber Security Team, with 20 years’ experience in various IT security consulting and management roles. In 2010, he co-founded and was the Director of Cyber Security Consulting firm - Aleron. He spent more than ten years managing and implementing IT security projects at leading financial institutions and has also worked as a Security Consultant in the hospitality industry where he provided strategic consulting, including the development and implementation of security policies and standards.
Alex has a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from the University of Sydney.

"Increased scrutiny of the security of Australia’s critical infrastructure is putting pressure on the right cyber solutions and their cyber security strategies. This challenge is further increased by a global skills shortage across Cyber Security Architects. To address this, I've led a team to develop a platform to automate and scale the Cyber Security Architecture function and provide it as a service. This is helping our clients get improved insights into their cyber risk profiles and cost to deliver cyber controls."
