Over the last 25 years, Rob has successfully led large complex Cyber Security teams and is now one of our Oceania Cyber Leaders that has assisted in establishing EY FSO Oceania’s Cyber Services.

Areas of focus

Robert joined EY in 2021 as a Partner in EY’s Oceania Technology Consulting department. He is now one of our Oceania Cyber Leaders. Robert specializes in Cyber Security with a career of over 25 years in large multi – national corporations and advisory.

By leveraging his training as a chartered accountant and in-depth information technology skills, Robert provides organisations with innovative strategies in managing their information security risk, operations and technology.

As a dynamic leader, Rob actively fosters an inclusive and empowering environment that encourages individuals to reach their fullest potential. He is an advocate for initiatives such as WiT and DE&I and supporting external initiatives that ISACA or AISA offer. Through a variety of avenues, he provides numerous opportunities for skill development, training and knowledge sharing across technology domains, drawing from his vast experience working with diverse teams.

As a mentor within EY, Rob plays a pivotal role in guiding an supporting our people on their growth journey. By offering valuable insights, constructive feedback and personalised advise, he enables individuals to overcome challenges and build strong foundations for the dynamic workforce we work in to prepare and stimulate our next generation of leaders.

Additionally, Rob is a driving force in our corporate social responsibility initiative, EY Ripples. Through his active participation, he not only raises awareness, but actively contributes to creating a more sustainable world for our future generations.
