EY Bangkok Office held an annual seminar in webinar format for Japanese clients on 16 September 2021. The webinar was attended by 112 Japanese clients’ executives.

Koshiro Yamaoka, Takeshi Nakao and Kenji Fujimoto started the seminar with 2021 JGAAP and TFRS for NPAEs; and interesting rules relevant to Full TFRSs, followed by Koichi Oyama’s Climate Change: what management need to consider and take action? Then, Shingo Igayama shed light on Transaction due diligence for Japanese companies in Thailand. And to wrap up the webinar, Hirohisa Furuse and Mie Ebashi gave an overview of Thailand key tax and legal update including transfer pricing.

Two speakers joined from EY Japan remotely, namely, Shingo Igayama and Koichi Oyama, partners at EY Strategy and Consulting Co., Ltd. "Despite limited time, the webinar was easy to understand and helpful", commented one participant.

The webinar was followed by private consultation sessions, which were attended by 6 companies.

EY Bangkok’s JBS team, led by Wichart Lokatekrawee, Yupa Wichitkraisorn, and Kusuma Vivattanaprasert, has held annual seminars for EY Thailand and EY Japan clients since 2002.
