Erik is a highly regarded professional on customer strategy, consumer insight, customer experience design, product/service innovation and public opinion measurement. He is a partner in the Customer team at EY Australia and also leads the Customer Insights Service in Oceania. Erik joined EY Australia when his firm was acquired by the EY organisation in 2014, now known as EY Sweeney.
Erik focuses on customer-led transformation and helping optimise customer experiences in the digital age. He has a reputation for providing astute market insight, having co-authored a number of flagship global thought leadership initiatives. He regularly speaks at conferences and events, and has received recognition by his peers for innovative approaches to consumer insight and customer experience methodologies.
Passionate about the insights industry, Erik serves as a non-executive director on the board of the Australian Data and Insights Association (ADIA). He is a Qualified Practising Researcher (QPR), a full member of the Australian Research Society, and holds a First-Class Honours Degree in Economics and Marketing from the University of Sydney.
