Leonie Costello is the EY Oceania Health and Human Services leader for People Consulting.

An experienced leader, Leonie focusses on design and implementation of human centred strategies and digital solutions for organisations experiencing large scale change: including strategy development, customer experience design, digital product design and development, organisational design, workforce review, service, and business model design through to large-scale, complex transformation and reform. She has experience building and leading people, customer and digital capabilities and teams within professional services firms and for client organisations. With more than 20 years’ experience advising clients at CXO level in both the private and public sectors, she has focussed the last decade on digital transformation and health and human services reform at both the federal and state government levels.

How Leonie is building a better working world

This experience has led Leonie to focus on helping clients understand the intersection of different systems and impacts that interventions might have on citizens/customers at different touch points. She works with clients to innovate services, delivery models and interventions to achieve better social and economic outcomes for citizens/customers and government.

Leonie is a skilled communicator who is passionate about working with clients to understand and help address big problems. She is passionate about design and harnessing customer/citizen insights to inform the development of digital solutions that will make a real impact for her clients and the customers they serve.
