DORA Breakfast: First Insights from DORA Audits

Following our engaging and well-attended DORA Governance and Oversight Breakfast in September 2025, we are excited to announce a follow-up session where we will share the latest developments regarding DORA across Europe.

Since DORA became effective in January 2025, regulators across Europe have been actively engaged in supervision and enforcement. The significant jurisdictional differences pose a substantial challenge for organizations operating in multiple countries. Adding to this already considerable challenge are the increasing technological complexities and dependencies, such as the heightened usage of cloud service providers, along with escalating geopolitical tensions, which are now shedding new light and pressure on driving resilience.

During this session, we will cover the following key points:

  • Regulatory DORA Audits 2025/2026 – First insights: We will explore the DORA audit landscape for this audit cycle, delving deep into EY’s insights and examining the key challenges and audit findings across various jurisdictions.
  • Regulatory Enforcement outlook: We will discuss the future state of supervision, as regulators are now more clearly designing and implementing their supervisory approaches. Understanding this will help us adequately prepare for the frequency and depth of future audits.
  • DORA big challenges: In conjunction with the DORA findings, other immediate challenges continue to keep global financial organizations occupied. We will explore the most important and pressing topics, sharing EY’s best practices and solutions designed to help you mitigate such findings and enhance your resilience posture in a pragmatic and sustainable way.
