Following the DORA Governance and Oversight Breakfast held in September 2025, we are pleased to announce a deep‑dive session during which we will share the latest developments related to DORA at the European level.
Since DORA entered into force in January 2025, supervisory authorities across Europe have been actively engaged in supervision and enforcement activities. The significant differences between jurisdictions represent a major challenge for organizations operating across multiple countries. This complexity is further compounded by increasing technological dependencies—such as the growing use of cloud service providers—as well as the current geopolitical context, which is intensifying the focus and pressure on operational resilience.
The session will provide a practical discussion, enriched with concrete cases and market examples, and will focus in particular on the following topics:
DORA regulatory audits 2025/2026 – Initial findings: an analysis of the DORA audit landscape for the current cycle, with a deep dive into EY insights and the key challenges and findings emerging across different jurisdictions.
Perspectives on enforcement activities: an overview of the evolving supervisory approach adopted by regulatory authorities, supporting organizations in preparing for the expected frequency and depth of future audits.
Key DORA challenges: beyond DORA audit findings, additional critical issues continue to challenge financial institutions globally.
We will examine the most relevant and urgent topics, sharing EY best practices and solutions to pragmatically and sustainably mitigate these challenges and strengthen operational resilience.
