EY European AI Barometer 2025

Is AI a helper or a challenge from the point of view of employees in Switzerland, or even a job killer? The fact is: More and more employees are using artificial intelligence in their day-to-day work, 86 percent of them in Switzerland. Almost half fear for their job.

Findings from the report:

  1. 43% of employees in Switzerland are concerned about the negative impact of AI on their jobs. 
  2. Seven out of ten employees expect jobs to be cut in Switzerland due to competition from AI.
  3. Almost nine out of ten respondents in Switzerland now use AI tools - an increase of 4 percentage points compared to 2024.
  4. Almost two thirds of employees in Switzerland are training themselves in AI.
