European and British banks have accelerated the development of their transition plans, although most are still in the early stages of real integration into strategic decisions. The analysis identifies progress in climate objectives, governance and customer engagement, but with large differences in maturity between entities. Significant challenges remain in data quality, methodologies, and reliance on external policies and technologies.
