Tassos is a Tax Partner at EY in Greece. He is also a Partner and founder of the associated with EY Greece "Platis-Anastassiadis & Associates Law Partnership”.
He has 25 years of experience and is leading the Indirect Tax and Tax Controversy & Litigation services of EY’s Tax practice in Greece.
Tassos provides indirect tax, business tax advisory, tax compliance services and tax litigation assistance to a wide range of clients, including companies operating in the pharmaceutical industry, the financial sector, the information & telecommunications technology sectors, the consumer manufacturing sector, the Oil and Gas industry, as well as to public contractors in the defense industry. He provides tax structuring and planning, as well as pre- and post-acquisition advice to major Greek companies.
He started his career as a tax lawyer in 1995, at a small boutique firm. He joined EY in July 2002, as tax manager. Tassos became Senior Tax Manager in 2004 and Tax Partner in 2007. He is a licensed lawyer since 1994 and member of professional bodies in Greece and abroad.
He holds an LLM in Tax and Corporate Law from University College London (1995) and a Bachelor in Law from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (1992).
He writes articles for the press, on VAT issues and other tax matters.
