EY Ireland is delighted to continue our sponsorship agreement with Hockey Ireland where EY assumes primary front of shirt placement across Ireland Senior Women’s and Senior Men’s National hockey teams.
The announcement marks a deepening of the partnership between Hockey Ireland and EY. The new EY logo placement will feature for the first time on the front of the Senior Teams’ shirts in March as both teams compete in the Hockey World Cup Qualifiers in Santiago, Chile in March, where they are looking to qualify for August’s Hockey World Cup to be held in Belgium and Netherlands.
The Ireland Senior Women’s team is currently World Rank #13, with the Men World Rank #11. The teams have represented Ireland in three consecutive Olympic Games, and the Senior Women reached the Hockey World Cup finals in 2018, a feat yet to be achieved by any other Irish team of any sport and any gender.
EY Ireland is committed to supporting and enabling hockey players to thrive off the field during and after their careers, and are dedicated to creating opportunities, such as work placements, internships, and scholarships for Hockey Ireland International players.
