The Entrepreneurs returns to RTÉ for a second season with a new four-part series that will take viewers behind the scenes with some of Ireland’s most successful and inspiring business leaders.
Airing on RTÉ One from Monday, 2 November at 8.30pm, the series will spotlight 12 of this year’s EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™ finalists, revealing the personal experiences, defining moments and bold ideas behind their entrepreneurial journeys.
Narrated by renowned broadcaster Kathryn Thomas, each 30-minute episode will feature three of this year’s finalists, exploring the decisions, setbacks and turning points that have shaped them and their businesses. The series will also provide unique insights into the highs, the lows, the risks and rewards of building a business.
This year’s series spans science-led skincare, faster access to ADHD assessment and treatment, modular construction, international logistics, drone delivery and the circular manufacture and refurbishment of environmental service vehicles. It also features technology-enabled obesity care, large-scale engineering and infrastructure, an online-first rugs and homewares brand, wireless connectivity, supplements developed specifically for women, and customer engagement technology for regulated industries.
Now in its 29th year, the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™ programme supports, promotes, and connects a community of more than 700 entrepreneurs, across sectors and regions, who collectively employ over 275,000 people across the island of Ireland and generate revenues of €28bn.
Speaking ahead of the launch, Roger Wallace, Head of Assurance and EY Entrepreneur of The Year Ireland said:
“The Entrepreneurs series offers a unique perspective on the people behind some of Ireland’s most exciting businesses. This year’s finalists are building standout consumer brands, advancing healthcare, rethinking construction and infrastructure, and using technology to create new business models.
Their stories show what entrepreneurship looks like in 2026: imaginative, resilient and ambitious. They are creating jobs, solving real problems and strengthening communities across our island. We are delighted to continue our partnership with RTÉ so that their stories can be seen and heard.”
The series will culminate in the prestigious EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™ Awards Gala, which will be shown on RTÉ One on Thursday, 26 November.
