As EY Ireland Advisory Manager, David operates in the strategy service line with a focus on the power and utilities sector.
In his role, David takes care of the design and delivery of core trading systems across the retail and generation arms of a major Irish utility for the introduction of the Integrated Single Electricity Market. He leads innovation project delivery, including identifying user needs, feasibility assessment and executing technology deployment.
Prior to joining EY, he worked with the state-owned electric power transmission system in Ireland as Senior Lead Engineer and Innovation Programme Lead.
David earned a Master of Business Administration from the Michael Smurfit Business School and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from University College Cork.
