Ian leads a team of 60 tax professionals, focusing on the provision of tax compliance and tax consultancy services to a wide range of indigenous, multinational and global companies.
Having worked across a wide range of projects, he is experienced at handling corporate tax compliance, group restructuring, acquisitions and disposals, capital allowances as well as R&D tax relief claims.
In addition to this, Ian leads EY Northern Ireland’s tax incentives team and advises both local and global companies on how to maximise the tax benefits available through the tax regime.
Before EY, he has held the role of Senior Manager at another Big Four firm.
Ian earned a BSc in Engineering from the University of Ulster. He is a chartered accountant and a Fellow of the Chartered Accountants Ireland as well as a member of the Chartered Institute of Tax.
