Mike is Chairperson for EY Ireland and a member of the UK & Ireland Leadership team. With more than 26 years of work experience at EY, he worked in the US, UK and Irish practices.
Having started his career in Audit, Mike moved into Transaction Advisory post qualification and created a market-leading business in Northern Ireland. He built a strong reputation for executing complex transactions locally, in Great Britain, Ireland and Europe for a range of corporate and private equity businesses.
Admitted as a transaction advisory partner in 1997, Mike became Managing Partner Belfast in 2002 before becoming Head of Markets Ireland in 2007. He took on the Country Managing Partner role in 2009 and oversaw a period of immense growth for the Irish practice despite the challenging economic conditions. He stepped down as Managing Partner in 2018 to become Chairperson.
