Sandra leads the Insurance Tax practice within the Financial Services Organisation of EY Ireland. She advises across the industry including life, non-life, reinsurance, captives, brokers and insurance related service providers.
She has many years experience of advising her clients on a broad range of domestic and international tax issues including establishing operations in Ireland and elsewhere, restructuring, Brexit transfers, portfolio transfers, mergers, reinsurance transactions, financing, due diligence and much more. More recently she has been assisting her clients in navigating the complexities of and determining the impact of Pillar Two.
Sandra has spoken at both domestic and international conferences and has written numerous articles in relation to insurance. Sandra holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University College Dublin. She is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and an associate of the Irish Taxation Institute.
