Abdur Rahman Cader, known simply as Cader, is the Operational Transaction Services leader for EY Africa. He has a background in M&A and continues to deliver on several mandates across Africa.
Cader is an EY-developed professional. He started his career as an articles clerk in our Assurance business, then moved to our Advisory business and became a partner in our Strategy and Transactions business, where he enhanced the execution of transactions across Africa. He has also previously led business development for the Government and Public Sector in South Africa.
Cader holds a Bachelor of Accounting Sciences degree and an Honours degree in Accounting Science.
How Abdur-Rahman is building a better working world
Cader is involved in a feeding scheme that supports many under-privileged communities. He is also helping to develop a number of female entrepreneurs, by assisting them with their business’s strategic plans, and operational efficiencies. During this charitable outreach, he also provides the business owners with commercial advice.
