Barkin is a Senior Vice President with Ernst & Young Orenda Corporate Finance Inc. and a Capital Markets leader, providing advisory and capital-raising services for some of Canada’s most successful public and private companies.
Barkin brings more than two decades of experience helping clients across diverse industries and sectors grow their businesses. His experience ranges from loan structuring and underwriting, project finance and workouts, to helping clients anticipate, define and contain finance and risk management.
Prior to joining EY, Barkin held relationship management and senior leadership positions with several of Canada’s leading banks, where he was accountable for a significant book of business in commercial, corporate and international banking.
Barkin holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto and an Executive Master of Business Administration degree from the university’s Rotman School of Management.
