Being able to go to New Zealand
as part of my apprenticeship
is the biggest highlight for me.
Why start at EY?
At EY Switzerland, we are a team of more than 2,500 employees from 61 nations speaking more than 60 languages. We have offices in eleven locations across Switzerland, where we generated net service revenues of CHF 539.4 million in 2019. In total, EY is represented in 150 countries around the world, offering a huge network and countless career opportunities. We provide a wide range of services to some 100,000 customers from numerous industries.
After completing your apprenticeship, you will have a wide range of development prospects, both in Switzerland and abroad. In addition, we will support you in your further training as a Fiduciary Specialist, Tax Advisor or in other areas.
Your apprenticeship at EY
Are you interested in becoming an apprentice in an international company? Are you ready to take on new challenges and develop professionally and personally? At EY, you can complete an apprenticeship as an EFZ Profile M or Profile E Service and Administration Clerk , with your vocational trainers always being by your side. In each department you work in, specialists will teach you everything you need to know and answer all your questions.
Accompanying young people on their way to working life is a very interesting and exciting task. It is a challenge, but also a chance to share my knowledge with someone and to find my professional fulfilment.
What are your benefits as an apprentice at EY?
An apprenticeship at EY is anything but ordinary. In order to give you maximum support in your personal and professional development, we offer you a range of benefits:
EY covers the costs of all your textbooks. In the first month of each apprenticeship year, a lump sum is transferred to your payroll account in accordance with the recommendations of the Kaufmännischer Verband (KV). The amount of the textbook costs varies across cantons and apprenticeships.
We bear part of the costs for your language stays in France and England (two weeks respectively).
EY contributes to the costs of the preparatory week for the qualification procedure.
EY contributes to the examination costs for a language diploma (up to CHF 200).
KV immersive programme: On the condition that you achieve the required grades, EY contributes 50 percent of the costs for a six-month KV immersive stay in the French-speaking part of Switzerland (headquarters in Lausanne, school in Nyon).
On the condition that you achieve the required grades, EY contributes 50 percent of the costs for an exchange year abroad after the first year of your apprenticeship.
Whom are we looking for?
We expect you to have good grades in school and enjoy tackling digital tasks. You should be interested in the business world, curious, open-minded and have a hunger to learn.
You enjoy taking initiative, you have team spirit, creativity and good communication skills. Your well-groomed appearance and confidence bring out the best in you.
EY is not looking for employees who know it all, but for colleagues who are motivated, want to learn and communicate openly. The required knowledge can be gained over time.
Be yourself and let your authentic self convince us. We look forward to meeting you.

So that you know what to expect, we will show you how a typical application process at EY works:
You want to start your career and have discovered an apprentice position that may interest you? Make sure that your online application is convincing and complete. Submit online and we look forward to receiving it.
We will review your application, placing priority on your potential and your talent. If it’s a match and we would like to get to know you, we will call you to arrange for an interview appointment.
You’ll be invited to either to come to our office, so that you get to know our business and HR experts in a personal meeting, or meet up virtually with us. This is your chance to ask all questions that are important for your career. A successful interview is usually followed by a trial day, which will allow us to get to know each other a little better.
If, after the trial day, we know that the chemistry is right, you will receive an apprenticeship contract from us. Now all you have to do is sign it.
