October is traditionally recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, symbolized by the “Pink Ribbon.” In previous years, our events have centered around this vital cause. This year, we are broadening our focus to another critical area of women’s health: Cervical Cancer Awareness.
The Professional Women's Network is honored to invite you to our “Pink October” event: “The Pink Dialogue: Insights and Awareness on Cervical Cancer” featuring Prof. Dr. med. Isabell Witzel, MD, PhD, Head of the Department of Gynecology at University Hospital Zurich. Prof. Dr. Witzel, a distinguished expert in gynecology and oncology, will offer invaluable insights into cervical cancer, the HPV virus, and associated vaccinations.
Why Attend: Cervical cancer remains one of the most preventable and treatable forms of cancer when detected early and managed effectively and yet, we don’t hear much about it. Attending this event will equip you with crucial knowledge that could make a difference in your life or the lives of those you care about. Whether you’re looking to better understand the risks, learn about the latest advancements in prevention, or simply wish to support and be part of a community focused on women's health, this event offers a unique opportunity to engage directly with an expert in the field.
The event will take place in person at the EY Zurich office’s Auditorium on Wednesday, 30 October 2024, from 8:00-9:00 a.m.
We look forward to your participation in this essential discussion on women's health and well-being.
