He co-founded digitize.li as well as the Liechtenstein Consortium for Digital Capital Creation and held various private-sector mandates, including Chair of Liechtenstein’s leading insurance broker. As longtime advisor to the Prime Minister, he played a key role in government digitalization and innovation initiatives in Liechtenstein.
In his PhD at the University of Liechtenstein, he explored the state’s role in digital transformation, with a focus on the legal frameworks for emerging technologies like blockchain and the interplay of business, government and academia. Prior to joining government, he worked in financial services, construction and international diplomacy.
How Christoph is shaping the future with confidence
Exercising a leading role in an environment where interfaces are crucial has always appealed to Christoph. Whether in the distribution of perhaps the best fastening systems in the world in combination with their financing and maintenance, in the introduction of a blockchain law in Liechtenstein, where the technical challenges and human concerns had to be taken into account, or the dynamic digitalization in the environment of rather slow value chains – the balancing act between challenges is his vocation.
