On 19 July 2023, the UK government published a Statement of Changes to the Immigration Rules, adding citizens of Dominica, Honduras, Namibia, Timor-Leste and Vanuatu to its list of visa nationals. Nationals of Dominica, Honduras, Namibia, Timor-Leste and Vanuatu traveling to the UK on or after 3 p.m. on 19 July 2023, who intend to remain in the UK as a visitor or for any other purpose for less than six months, must now apply for a visitor visa prior to travel. The change will include a transition period for any nationals of these countries who booked their travel tickets before 3 p.m. on 19 July 2023 and will arrive in the UK no later than 16 August 2023. They will be exempt from the new visa requirement.
