Kostas is leading the EY Assurance Services in Northern and Central Greece, also acting as the Executive Director of the EY office in Thessaloniki, since 2011.
After joining EY in 1999, he has worked in numerous projects across all sectors, supporting clients in Macedonia, Thrace, Thessaly, and Epirus.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Department of Accounting and Finance of the University of Macedonia, and a Master's degree from the Board of Certified Public Accountants of Greece. While being a Certified Auditor Accountant since 2007, Kostas is also accredited in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) by the Association of International Accountants (AIA) and is a member of the Institute of Certified Auditors Accountants and the Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, he has delivered various seminars as lecturer on accounting and auditing.
Kostas’ extensive experience spans various sectors, including manufacturing/industry, wholesale and retail, natural gas, and hospitality, also having supported nonprofits. He has a strong background in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), specialized financial audits, company valuations, internal control system evaluations, and European program audits. Furthermore, he has participated in many projects converting financial statements from the Greek Accounting Standards to IFRS for major enterprises.
Through his work with publicly listed companies and nonprofit organizations, Kostas has gained extensive experience in IFRS and US GAAP, as well as in tax legislation and cost accounting.
