EY strengthens Island of Ireland partnership with a record 27 new Equity Partners

New cohort includes 18 internal promotions and 9 external hires – EY’s largest ever number of new Equity Partner appointments on the island of Ireland

New cohort includes 18 internal promotions and 9 external hires – EY’s largest ever number of new Equity Partner appointments on the island of Ireland

EY is delighted to announce a record 27 new Equity Partners bringing the total number of equity Partners in EY across the island of Ireland to 116.

Of the 27 new equity partners announced today, 18 have been admitted to the partnership from within EY, while a further 9 are external admit Partners.

These new appointments reflect the firm’s increased investment across all regions and service areas including Audit, Business and People Consulting, Technology Consulting, Strategy, Cyber, Financial Services, Sustainability, Corporate Financing, Tax, among others.

New EY Equity Partners

Enda Doyle has been admitted as Partner in Consulting as part of EY’s Technology Consulting Team. Enda leads EY’s Telecoms, Media and Technology (TMT) sector in Ireland. He has an accomplished track record in large scale technology and business solution delivery in the TMT industry in Ireland and with international clients.

Megan Conway has been admitted as Partner in the firm’s Consulting practice, leading EY’s Business and Technology Analysis Team. She works with clients to design and realise sustainable change across multiple sectors and successfully deliver high profile technology and business transformation programmes in Ireland, the UK and more broadly across Europe.

Conor Murphy has been admitted as Partner in the firm’s Consulting practice and leads EY's Systems Integration practice in Ireland. In his role, Conor helps to design and deliver complex technology solutions for Financial Services, Public Sector, Private Sector and TMT System Integration.

Cian Crowley has been admitted as Partner in EY’s Consulting practice and leads the SAP practice in Ireland, providing SAP consulting services to clients in all industry sectors. He is an experienced programme manager and has led several multi-country large scale business transformation programmes enabled by SAP.

Judith Savage has been admitted as Partner in the firm’s Consulting practice, leading the Transformation Architecture Team in Business Consulting. Judith specialises in supporting clients to re-imagine business models and to design and deliver complex transformation programmes. With 20 years combined consulting and industry experience, Judith works with clients across a range of sectors, with a particular focus on Government and Public Sector.

Aoife Warren has been admitted as Partner in EY’s Consulting Practice leading in the provision of Risk Consulting Services within Business Consulting. Aoife’s focus is on transactions and exit readiness, dealing in IPOs, private equity, mergers, and demergers.  Aoife leads EY’s Financial Position and Prospects Capital Market services across the UK and Ireland.

Laura Flynn has also been admitted as Partner in EY’s Consulting Practice leading the People Consulting Team. Her career to date includes ten years in international HR, together with seven years in management consulting. At EY she focuses on leading some of the most significant people transformations in the country with clients across Government, Health, Utilities and Financial Services.

Peter Bolger joins EY Law Ireland as Partner and Head of the firm’s Technology and Commercial practice. Peter advises on all aspects of technology law, IP and commercial agreements. His expertise is built on 20 years’ experience as a Partner in the commercial department of a leading full service, corporate law firm, Head of Intellectual Property, Technology and Privacy at another prominent full-service corporate law firm, and as in-house legal counsel at global payments firm Elavon.

David Martin has been admitted as Partner in EY’s Strategy and Transactions practice and leads the Debt Advisory Team. David works across a diverse range of industries and supports companies in raising the most flexible, appropriate, and competitive debt package from a range of Irish and International Banks and Alternative Lenders.

Helena O’Dwyer has also been admitted as Partner in EY’s Strategy and Transactions practice, leading EY Parthenon. Helena supports CEOs and business leaders across many different industries on all elements of corporate, growth and diversification strategies, to help build long-term value for all stakeholders.

Aoife Murray has been admitted as Partner in the firm’s Tax practice and leads EY’s Transfer Pricing Team. Aoife has been working in international tax and transfer pricing for 15 years, in Ireland and the US. Her experience includes planning projects, transfer pricing audits, advance pricing agreements, mutual agreement procedures and compliance documentation.

Michael Johnson has also been admitted as Partner in EY’s Tax practice and leads EY’s Accounting Compliance and Reporting Team. Michael joined EY in 2001 and has 19 years of financial accounting and compliance experience across a vast array of industries. He focuses on helping clients meet their financial accounting and compliance requirements.

Brian Kelly joins the partnership as part of the International Tax and Transaction Services team where he is a TMT sector Tax and Law leader at EY.  Brian provides international tax consultancy services to a broad range of EY clients across a number of areas.

Alison McHugh has joined EY as a Partner in Tax and leads the Private Client Services Team. Alison has 20 years’ experience working with high-net-worth individuals and their families advising them on all aspects of their tax affairs. She also works with private companies advising them on a wide range of issues including corporate restructuring and M&A.

John Farrelly has been admitted as Partner in EY’s Tax practice, leading Digital Transformation & Technology. John employs his skills in innovation and digital transformation to support people and organisations, aiming to help create more value. He advises in the areas of business analytics, big data, process automation, decision science, data management and business value.

Johanna McLoughlin has joined EY as Partner in the firm’s Consulting practice, leading the Life Sciences sector. Johanna joined EY in January from Kite Pharma, where she held the role of Chief Financial Officer. Johanna’s career to date has also seen her hold senior positions in finance, commercial and operations functions in GlaxoSmithKline & Walgreens Boots Alliance and has Big Four client-facing consulting experience.

Vikram Kunnath has joined EY as a Partner in Consulting, leading the Manufacturing and Supply Chain Team and is a member of the Life Sciences Team. Vikram has experience in the pharma manufacturing supply chain with an understanding of API, formulation, and cell and gene therapy. Prior to joining EY, he worked with Cognizant Technology Solutions as a Global Life Sciences Manufacturing solution lead.

Ronan Murray has joined EY as a Partner in the Strategy and Transactions Practice as part of the M&A Team. He has extensive corporate finance experience providing M&A lead advisory and financial due diligence services to a significant number of companies in the Irish Private landscape. He provides strategic advice on acquisitions and disposals from initiation to transaction completion.

Fergal McAleavey joins EY as a Partner in Strategy and Transactions, leading the Corporate Finance Team. Fergal joined EY from Ireland’s Sovereign Wealth fund ISIF where he was head of private equity with a focus on scaling indigenous businesses via venture capital and private equity funds and also via direct equity. While in ISIF he was a Non-Executive Director in AMCS, ATA Group, Cubic Telecom, Finance Ireland and Greystones Media Campus. He has deep expertise advising and financing the growth of ambitious indigenous companies.

Puneet Kukreja joins EY as Partner in the firm’s Consulting practice as the Head of EY Cyber Security Practice in Ireland. As a trusted board and c-suite adviser on cyber transformation, Puneet helps clients navigate the challenges that digital transformation brings and supports their accelerated move to cloud in a secure manner. He works with organisations across the full lifecycle of cyber transformation from operating model enhancement, cyber capability builds and people leadership.

Tara Hynes joins EY as a Strategy and Transactions Partner specialising in Transaction Diligence. Tara joined EY from another Big Four firm, where she was a Partner in Transaction Services. Tara’s career spans over 20 years having worked in Transaction Services and Assurance in Deloitte and as Global Director of Corporate Finance in Worley Limited.

Oliver Pugh has been admitted as a Partner in EY’s Financial Services Consulting practice. Oliver helps financial services clients transform their business through technology. He has 16 years consulting experience and specialises in shaping and leading large-scale and complex transformation programmes.

Mick Moroney has been admitted as a Partner in EY’s Financial Services Tax Practice focusing on Aviation. Mick has broad experience in designing and implementing international and domestic structures and has worked with a wide range of clients within the aviation finance, asset management, private equity and banking sectors, primarily providing tax advisory and compliance services.

Tiarnan O’Rourke has been admitted as a Partner in EY’s Financial Services Assurance practice. Tiarnan has over 13 years of experience in Insurance audit, having also previously worked in another Big Four firm. He works with a range of clients, helping them to adapt to any challenges they may face.

Mark Brangam has been admitted as a Partner in EY’s Financial Services Consulting practice. He leads the Risk Consulting Team. Mark has 15 years’ experience in delivering high-value, complex risk, regulatory programmes across CRO, CFO and CDO. He leads the delivery of risk transformation services across retail banks, and he specialises in leading multi-competency teams to provide technical insights.

Conor Buckley has been admitted as a Partner in EY’s Financial Services Assurance Practice as part of the Banking and Capital Markets (‘BCM’) Assurance Group. Conor has worked in the BCM assurance sector in EY for ten years and has significant experience leading large engagement teams for corporate and retail bank audits.

Jenny Pattwell has been admitted as a Partner in EY’s Financial Services Consulting practice. Jenny leads on Financial Services Risk Consulting in Ireland with a focus on Risk & Regulatory-driven transformation and Financial Crime.
