Alan joined EY Ireland to build a world class law firm that is integrated locally and connected globally. One that provides a seamless service to clients across multiple jurisdictions. One that harnesses the strength and depth of other disciplines to provide, when required, an end-to-end service to our clients. A service that provides excellence of advice and excellence of delivery.
Prior to joining EY, Alan had the privilege of serving as Managing Partner of Eversheds Sutherland (ES) in Ireland (from 2009-2020), Chairman of ES in Europe (2013-2017), a Member of the Global Board of ES (2013-2019) and a Member of the European Board of ES (2009-2020).
He has also had the honour of serving on the board of a number of charities including Barretstown, where he chaired the Risk and Governance Committee (2012-2019).
Alan also successfully completed the Leadership in Professionals Firms course in Harvard Business School.
