Vincent is the Head of the Financial Reporting Group (FRG) within EY Ireland Financial Services.
His responsibilities include building and leading the team, financial reporting related consultation reviews, leading the pre-issuance reviews of the financial statements for FS Ireland’s listed audit clients, implementing in FS Ireland IFRS technical trainings and technical quality initiatives originating from EY EMEIA and supporting audit teams for any financial reporting technical related issues and queries.
Vincent has over 20 years experience in auditing and providing financial reporting technical advice. He has been with EY Ireland since October 2006 and was with EY Philippines prior to that. He has led/managed some of Ireland’s largest Financial Services (FS) audit engagements and relationships.
Vincent has led Ireland’s FS FRG since he joined FRG in 2019 and has been the go to person in FS Ireland for all financial reporting technical matters. He represents FS Ireland within FS EMEIA IFRS Desk Leadership and is a member of various EY Global Subject Matter Groups.
How is Vincent building a better working world
Due to the rapidly expanding regulatory and accounting landscape and the continued growth within EY FS Ireland, Vincent aims to continue building Ireland’s FS FRG team. The expanded team will have specialised financial reporting technical knowledge in Banking, General Finance, Insurance, Aviation Finance, Structured Finance and Asset Management in order to provide high quality technical support to FS Ireland’s audit teams.
