EY Australia prepares and publishes annual Modern Slavery Statements in accordance with the requirements of Australia’s Modern Slavery Act 2018.

We recognise that modern slavery exists within our supply chain, and we have stepped up our commitment this year in support of a world free of modern slavery and where all its citizens can live free from fear, harassment, and discrimination. Our increased ambition is supported by our Executive and will lead to a greater examination of the outcomes of our activities but also the re-imagination of more ethical business models – to help embody the change that the Modern Slavery Act 2018 ultimately pursues.

Each Modern Slavery Statement will describe the risks of modern slavery practices in the operations and supply chains of EY Australia, for the respective reporting period, as well as the actions taken to assess and address those risks. The statements also highlight future goals for our modern slavery framework, which will be reported on in following years.
