Founded in 2014 from Rachel Brimblecombe's living room, Better Rehab began with a mission to revolutionise occupational therapy for those with disabilities. Rachel's entrepreneurial spirit, evident since her early teens, manifested in her ambition to transform healthcare services. Whilst lecturing at university she brought her vision to life, creating an allied health company that extended beyond traditional bounds.

Better Rehab rapidly evolved into a leading community allied health provider across Australia and New Zealand. Under Rachel's guidance, the company has made a significant impact, helping over 40,000 individuals. Her leadership has been pivotal in developing a dynamic workplace culture where over 300 clinicians across disciplines including occupational therapy, speech pathology, psychology, physiotherapy, exercise physiology, and positive behaviour support thrive under her stewardship.

This growth is not just in numbers but in the scope of services and depth of impact. Better Rehab, under Rachel's guidance, has diversified its offerings to address a broader spectrum of needs, ensuring a more holistic approach to disability and healthcare services. This expansion reflects her commitment to innovation and participant-focused care, ensuring that every individual receives tailored support.

Driven by strong core values, Rachel's vision for Better Rehab goes beyond providing excellent healthcare. It's about creating an environment where clinicians feel valued and participants feel genuinely supported. Her approach has always been to prioritise long-term outcomes over short-term gains, a philosophy that has resonated throughout the organisation.

Better Rehab's journey from a single-person operation to a leading health provider is a testament to Rachel's relentless drive and commitment to change. As it continues to grow, her founding vision remains at its core: to enhance the lives of people with disabilities by offering high-quality, compassionate healthcare. Her younger self, already dreaming of making a difference, would indeed be proud of the legacy she's building.
