Commenting on his appointment, Alex Birkin said: “It’s an honour to lead this outstanding team and build on the strong foundations in place. The pace of change across the financial services sector is accelerating. Our FS clients are transforming themselves to realise long-term value for their clients, talent, shareholders and society as a whole. Our job at EY is to help them do this by maximising the power of their people, their technology, and their innovation.”

In addition to his role at EY, Alex is a Board Member of the CFA Institute, a global organisation whose mission is to lead the investment profession globally by promoting the highest standards of ethics, education, and professional excellence for the ultimate benefit of society.
