Sustainable finance means unlocking alternate forms of financing for social and environmental initiatives, with a focus on achieving outcomes.
Many impact organizations are limited to their donor base and unstable government funding, with little access to capital. Alternative methods of financing are helping to close this financing gap and create better outcomes for everyone.
How are we making an impact in the sustainable finance ecosystem?
Through the Sustainable Finance program (SFP), we are acting as the Intermediary or the Advisor through EY Ripples, by providing our expertise and convening government, investors, and social purpose organizations to create better social outcomes.
What have we achieved so far?
2 pilot sustainable finance initiatives launched in Canada.
We are providing intermediary services for Child Development Institute’s (CDI) social outcomes financing program. This work will grow and scale resources for CDI’s SNAP 2.0 Program, benefitting over 20,000 children experiencing disruptive behaviour problems across Canada.
