Arthur is a trusted business and tax planning advisor to owners and private company leaders across multiple industries and sectors. He brings a deep understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE) to his work, and an in-depth knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) and financial reporting rules to equip his Canadian private equity clients in making informed decisions with the utmost confidence.
Arthur holds Bachelor of Arts and Master of Accounting (MAcc) degrees from the University of Waterloo. As a Chartered Accountant and Certified Public Accountant (CA, CPA), he is past President and Chair of a number of Greater Toronto business associations and Treasurer of the Markham Board of Trade.

As past President of both the Toronto chapter and national Hong Kong Canada Business Association (HKCBA), he dedicates his time to promoting international trade and business. He’s also actively involved with campus and experienced recruiting, sharing insights with the coming generation and helping to develop outstanding leaders while supporting two of EY’s priority social responsibility pillars — education and entrepreneurship.
